- A retractable awning is a product that is attached to the exterior of a wall or structure (ie: house, building, gazebo, etc) and can be opened and closed at the user’s discretion to provide shade or protection from the elements.
Advaning’s retractable awnings are made specifically for sunshade purposes. We make available two types of retractable awnings;

I needed assistance setting up this awning. I called the manufacturer Advaning, and spoke to a very kind and patient gentleman named Jessy. Jessy had me set up and operating and enjoying my new awning in no time. He took me through, step by step, instructing me on how the awning worked. When i called, the phone was answered on the first ring, and I was speaking to Jessy immediately. Jessy was very knowledgeable on the operation of this awning, and explained its operation very clearly, which made everything very easy for me.

A VERY NICE AWNING, RECEIVED WITH PROBLEMS, BUT EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. – We were one of the unlucky purchasers where after we installed the powered Awning, the limits were messed up from the factory. The Awning would retract using the motor and would not stop. Instead it stopped only from current limiting itself. It made a horrible noise and chipped some paint off the hood. I called Advaning and they sent me the instructions for adjusting the travel limits. I was able to adjust it to my liking but now it would wind unevenly so when retracted, the right-side would be fully retracted and the left-side sticking out about 1 inch. I really wanted to return the whole thing but no way to repackage it. So I called them again and they sent me some plastic round shims to install on one end of the spool. I did so and it’s a lot better. We have about 1/2″ difference from the left and right end. Although a little disappointed with the chipped paint, we are very pleased with Advaning’s Customer Service. The weather changed after we got it installed so won’t be using it until next spring. We would highly recommend this Awning and Company because they are really do stand behind what they sell. I bet if I complained about the paint-chips, they would likely send some touch-up paint.
