- A retractable awning is a product that is attached to the exterior of a wall or structure (ie: house, building, gazebo, etc) and can be opened and closed at the user’s discretion to provide shade or protection from the elements.
Advaning’s retractable awnings are made specifically for sunshade purposes. We make available two types of retractable awnings;

5 stars Five years after installation, still the best – We bought and installed this awning five years ago, and given our complete satisfaction, it’s past time to leave a review. Summary: With a South-facing back deck, in full sun all day every day, all year long, we needed shade to make outdoor sitting more comfortable and keep some of that fierce sun out of the dining room. This awning has done the trick, and we couldn’t be happier. We had a local contractor handle the installation, which posed some head-scratching but manageable challenges, given our vinyl siding, but for five years the manual retraction mechanism has worked well and all parts including the fabric, have endured both hot summer days and occasionally fierce New England winters. The mechanicals require occasional minor lubrication, and you’ll want to be diligent about closing the awning at night and in inclement weather; other than that, we think you’ll find this to be an effective, low-maintenance enhancement for your outdoor living! (PS – Customer service is fast and friendly, as well!)

The instructions and ease of hanging out was great.
It’s a very solid build. We went cheap a few years ago and it did not last long.
Definitely recommend this over the c competitor’s fir price and quality.
